Microneedling questions
Does microneedling hurt?
We apply a topical numbing cream first, so most clients feel light pressure and vibration rather than pain. Sensitive zones (forehead, around the nose) may tingle briefly.
What's the difference between microneedling and microchanneling?
Microchanneling is a newer, stamping-based evolution of microneedling — more uniform channels, less dragging, gentler recovery. We’ll recommend the right one for your skin and goal at your consultation.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes — it’s one of the safest collagen treatments for melanin-rich skin because it doesn’t rely on heat that targets pigment. Protocols and serums are still tailored carefully to your skin.
How many sessions do I need?
Most plans run 3–6 sessions, spaced about 4 weeks apart. Acne scarring sits at the higher end; texture and glow at the lower. You’ll see the full plan with pricing before you commit.
What's the downtime, honestly?
Expect to look lightly sunburned for 24–48 hours, with possible light flaking after. Most clients treat on Friday and are camera-ready by Monday.
